Today in chem class, we tested the concentration of vitamin C in many different drinks that are suspected to have a high concentration of it, such as pear juice, grape juice, and others. We then used a starch and an indicator to titrate the drinks and when they turned blue, they were done. Going from the number of drops or ml that it took to titrate, we can figure out the concentration of vitamin C in each, based on a standard we made by dissolving a vitamin c tablet.
