Here is a video that I should closely rewatch to understand limiting reagents better.

Stoich Test Reflection
As with all of the tests I have taken this year, this one was somewhat frustrating. I forgot silly things, and I knew that the knowledge was on the tip of my tongue, but I always blank on Chemistry tests and I don't know why. The main issue I had was figuring out how to set up the problems. Yes, I know how Stoich works, and yes, I can do the math. However, I got confused on what elements and compounds to include in the setup. I will be rereading some notes before the final.

Copper Lab
These past two days our class has been watching the formation of copper from an iron nail placed in Copper Chloride. To begin, we polished a nail with some steel wool, massed the nail, container that was to hold the nail, and the Copper Chloride. Then we placed the nail in the container with the Copper Chloride and the reaction began fairly quickly with the formation of copper on the scuffed nail.

Here you can see the reaction beginning as soon as the nail was placed into the Copper Chloride.
The next day, we washed the copper with Hydrochloric Acid, and this was the end result. This picture was taken before the Copper was dried. Once dried,it was a red powder.
Stoichiometry
Stoichiometry is where I have seen all of our chemistry come together. I never thought I would be able to figure out how much of reactant is needed to form another amount of a product simply by having a balanced chemical equation and the periodic table.

I am often confused by which problem to set up and which reactants and products to include in the setup.
