Hydrates can be long multi step problems, however they are not as confusing as they seem.
First, get the mass of the hydrate alone.
Next, Get the mass of the anhydrous salt alone.
Then, get the mass of water driven off during heating alone.
Convert all to moles. Once a mole value is found, divide by the lowest mole value. The whole number result is n in the formula.
